FYI
----------------------------------
Dear colleagues and friends,
This is to announce the research school
"Sampling high-dimensional probability measures: applications in (non)equilibrium molecular dynamics and statistics"
which will be held at CERMICS, the applied mathematics laboratory of Ecole des Ponts (east suburb of Paris), from September 25 to September 29, 2023.
The school is intended for young researchers (primarily PhD students and postdocs) in applied mathematics, statistics and machine learning, as well as physics, chemistry, materials science and computational biology.
The school aims at being at the intersection of molecular dynamics and computational statistics, whose interaction has always been fruitful and successful. It will consist in two sessions: a first three-day session will be devoted to general lectures and hands-on sessions, while the second two-day session will be dedicated to a training on the molecular dynamics package Molly, written in the Julia language.
Some funding is available to cover local accomodation expenses.
The application form and further information are available on the website: https://sites.google.com/view/aleiac/anr-sineq/summer-school-mol-dyn-on-julia
We would be grateful if you could circulate the announcement among potentially interested young researchers.
With our best regards,
Alessandra Iacobucci and Gabriel Stoltz
