Professorship "Next-Generation Computing für Quanten- und molekulare Systeme"
Open professorship at RWTH Aachen University

Open professorship at RWTH Aachen University

TT Professorship in Quantum Computing at the University of Stuttgart
Professorship in Quantum Software at the University of Stuttgart:
Applications are invited for several PhD and Postdoc positions funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant project Computational Complexity of Highly Nonlinear Approximations at RWTH Aachen. The positions will be available starting July 1st, 2025, but later starting dates are possible.
The aim of the project is to investigate numerical methods for high-dimensional partial different equations based on nonlinear approximations such as low-rank tensor decompositions, anisotropic Gaussians and neural networks, with focus on the computational costs of reliable solvers.
For certain parts of the project, expertise in mathematical aspects of quantum chemistry is particularly welcome.
